HIDUP SMT DLM REMBAU!!
Anything goes for this Pengarah of Kolej Vokasional (Rintis) Dato' Lela Maharaja, Rembau, N9.

Prince William
Prince William got married to Catherine Middleton on the 29th April 2011 amidst the pomp and splendour that normally accompanied such an occasion involving the Bitish Royal family.
You must be wondering why on earth would I be interested in writing about the wedding. We all know that when it comes to being married the Royal family is not a good example of logevity in matrimony.....well except for the Queen herself. Look at Prince Charles, Princess Anne and Prince Andrew. They all make fools of themselves but yet the majority of their British subjects adore them.
Ahaa...back to the reason why I'm writing this post. Almost 30 years ago, on July 1981 Lady Diana Spencer, Prince William's mother got married to Prince Charles. During that time I was in Northampton, England and just completed my A-levels exam. It was not until late September did I join the University of Liverpool. It was a fairy tale wedding .......some people say it was the wedding of the century. We Malaysians living abroad couldn't help but being inadvertently absorbed into the euphoria of the event. Stories and reports about the wedding started months before the wedding date and continued long after it.
The whole nation and a good part of the world was glued to the telly during the wedding day...myself included. After all, it was the middle of summer and there was nothing else to do. Morever, Lady Diana was also born in 1961 ......so there was some significance in me being interested.
The marriage didn't last long as we all know .....the details sometimes made me sick. We can just hope the newly weds - Williams and Kate would strive to make their marriage work and ever-lasting in a nation where the marriage institution and the family unit is crumbling.
